Thank you, so much. I can't tell you how much this means to me. As a South Asian-Canadian blogger, I've noticed that there are not many South Asian YA books in the market. I'm currently reading Swimming in the Moonsoon Sea for school. I plan to read Life of Pi because of recommendation. I am going to slowly work my way through this list. Thank you for honouring these books!
ReplyDeleteWow, great roundup! And we've heard fantastic things about BAMBOO PEOPLE, LIFE OF PI, and ELEPHANT RUN. Now we'll have to check out some of these others.
ReplyDeleteThanks for making this list! How awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou should check out 'Carpe Diem' by Autumn Cornwell as well.
Laura, This is a great list. I've added it to my Pinterest Board: South Asian YA Literature. Have a look -- I've pinned some from your site.
